BIDDEFORD — Internet company GWI has hired three new people in response to a growing demand for the company’s services.
”¢ Christina Painter is the company’s new junior staff accountant, and a recent accounting graduate from Alfred University in New York.
”¢ Pat Welch has been hired as an IT support technician. Welch graduated recently from Southern Maine Community College with an associate’s degree in computer technology, a college career that also included an internship at Southern Maine Health Care.
Ӣ Nick Schroeder was hired as a Level 1 network engineer. Before joining GWI, Schroeder served as an aviation machinist with the U.S. Navy. He is also a graduate of Southern Maine Community College, and completed a networking internship at Bowdoin College.
“I am very pleased with these new hires,” said CEO Fletcher Kittredge in a prepared statement. “All three folks will help us with our primary focus, which is customer service.”
