GARDINER — Talia Marie Sirois of Litchfield and Christopher Frank Hempstead of Yarmouth were married on Aug. 24, 2013. The ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s Church in Gardiner and was officiated by Father Roger Chabot.

Serving as maid of honor was Elizabeth Sirois of Litchfield, while the bridesmaids were Sarah Dooley of Wilton, Tina Papadopoulos of Topsham, Sarah Vosmus of Bowdoin and Amy Hempstead of Medford, Mass.

The best men were Mark Hempstead of Philadelphia, Pa., and Sam Tupper of Ponte Vedra, Fla., while the groomsmen were Nicholas Sirois of Wilton, Jeff Rick of Bedford, N.H., and Ken Rackliff of Litchfield.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Mike Gervais and Belinda Gaudet. A reception took place at the home of the bride’s parents in Litchfield, with music/entertainment provided by The Nick Roy Band.

The bride, daughter of Patrick and Bethany Sirois of Litchfield, is a graduate of Mt. Ararat High School and St. Joseph’s College of Maine, and she works as a teacher/education consultant for Scholastic Inc.

The groom, son of David and Rolande Hempstead of Yarmouth, is a graduate of Yarmouth High School and Maine Maritime Academy. He is a marine engineer for Ensco.

Following a wedding trip to New Zealand, the couple lives in Cumberland.
