AUBURN — The Maine Gladiators will be holding midget hockey tryouts for its house program (Tier IV) on Aug. 5 at Norway Savings Bank Arena.
The Gladiators, who recently merged with the Twin City Titans, will offer midget hockey, with the season scheduled to run from late August to mid-November, ending just prior to high school hockey tryouts.
Evaluations for players under 18-years of age (born 1996 and 1997) will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with players under 16 (born in years 1998, 1999 and 2000) taking the ice at 7:10 p.m.
All players must bring their application and USA Hockey registration. All participants will be charged a $30 non-refundable tryout fee. If preregistered at (www.mainegladiators.com), the cost for the tryout is $20.
