Meeting to focus on water-main work

A public informational meeting on the West Elm Street water main rehabilitation project will be held Thursday, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m., in the Community Room at Yarmouth Town Hall.

Music festival coming Aug. 23

The first Royal River Music Fest will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., at Royal River Park. The family-friendly event will showcase local musicians representing a variety of genres, including blues, rock, jazz, bluegrass, and more, and there will be kids’ activities, food vendors.
