BOSTON — The following local residents recently received a degree from Simmons College: Brooke Luro, of Biddeford, master’s degree in gender and cultural studies; Patricia Leavitt, of Buxton, doctorate in nursing practice; Brianna Bouchard, of Kennebunk, bachelor’s degree in nursing; Nicole Boivin, of Limerick, doctorate in philosophy; Rebecca Kennedy, of Sanford, doctorate in physical therapy; Melissa Desrochers, of Sanford, bachelor’s degree, cum laude; and Meredith Lamothe, of Wells, master’s degree in library science.
