“Monty Python’s Spamalot,” the stage version of the comedic “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” will show at Hackmatack Playhouse, Route 9, Berwick through Saturday, Aug. 16. Showtimes are Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 8 p.m., with Thursday matinees at 2 p.m.

The Barn Gallery’s 13th season of Art Videos at the Gallery features a film every Wednesday 7:30 p.m. at the Barn Gallery, Bourne Lane at Shore Road in Ogunquit. “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be presented by the Maine State Ballet Aug. 8-16 at the Maine State Ballet Theater in Falmouth. Biddeford resident Emily Belanger, Aubrey Bartlett of Kennebunk and Alyssa Bryan of Waterboro will be among the cast of nearly 70 dancers. Sanford Maine Stage is holding auditions for its upcoming murder mystery dinner show, “The Man Who Thought He Was Sherlock Holmes,” by Robert Mattson, which is to be performed at The Crabby Bear Restaurant in Acton on Oct. 4.
