Waterboro’s Andrew Tripp eats a piece of fruit and drinks liquids after weighing in for his 165-pound mixed martial arts fight against Mike Taft on Friday night at the Old Orchard Beach town square. Tripp had started the day weighing 170 pounds but was gradually able to get his weight under the limit as the day progressed, weighing in at 164.8 pounds. Tripp will be a hometown favorite Saturday night as part of the inaugural King of the Beach event at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach. (CAMERON DUNBAR/Journal Tribune)
