ALL PROCEEDS FROM the Mid-Coast Veteran Council’s Third Annual Golf Tournament, held Friday morning at Brunswick Golf Club, went to benefit the council.

Council chairman Roger Dumont said he was hopeful that up to $15,000 would be raised. Funding would be used to support the Veterans Resource Center at Brunswick Landing and the mission of the council, which includes helping any honorably discharged veteran — including those who served during peacetime — connect with veterans services. The council also provides funds for some veterans for help with heating, groceries, and vehicle repair.
