THE BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL cross country team, after being challenged by the Mt. Blue cross country squad, took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Thursday in Brunswick. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is non-curable. “It is a great cause, and we’re hoping other teams throughout the state will do this,” said Brunswick cross country senior Jack Murphy. “This really helps to bring the team together.” Brunswick has challenged Mt. Ararat and Morse to also take part in this cause.
