Margaret (Faulkner) Irish, 95, passed away on Aug. 20, 2014, at Southington Care Center in Connecticut. She was the wife of the late Delmar B. Irish.
Margaret was born in Weston, ME, on May 8, 1919, and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Florence (Inglis) Faulkner Sr.
She had worked at Clark Brothers Bolt Co. & H L Moore’s for many years. Margaret was also an excellent piano player and enjoyed arts and crafts.
Margaret is survived by her four children, Delmar “Buddy” Irish and his wife Catherine of Foley, AL, Luella Carpenter of Southington, Donna Raymond and her husband Philip of Bristol,
Ida Pratt of Trenton, Ohio, and twin brothers Elmer Faulkner Jr. and wife, Sidney Faulkner and his wife, all of Danforth, ME, 12 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and six greatgreat grandchildren.
She was predeceased by grandson Patrick Vincent Raymond, son-in-laws Kenneth Pratt and Joseph Carpenter.
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Southington Care Center Recreation and Activity Center, 45 Meriden Ave., Southington, CT 06489.
