ON SUNDAY, AUG. 31, join architectural historian Scott Hanson for a tour of Fort Andross/Cabot Mill, the next in Pejepscot Historical Society’s Summer History Walking Tour Series. This hour-long tour will begin with a presentation by Hanson, and then he will lead guests throughout the building, explaining Cabot Mill’s construction and operation as a major textile manufacturer in the 19th and 20th centuries. The picture above is of the Cabot Mill winding room crew in 1925. The tour will be offered twice, once at 1 p.m., and again at 2:30 p.m. The tour will meet at the main entrance of Fort Andross.
