Harbour Singers, a local hospice choir, supports persons in end-of-life care settings throughout southern Maine through the gift of song. The musical group, which formed in 2008, consists entirely of volunteers who visit hospice, hospitals, nursing homes or residences throughout the region, with hopes of offering peace and song to those near the end of life. The choir rehearses in Saco every Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. Those interested in becoming new singers are welcomed to attend the Sept. 3, 10, and 17 rehearsals. Harbour Singers is non-denominational, and is open to all who wish to sing. For more information, call 286-7678.
