SACO — Anita Beaudoin, 92, of Saco and formerly of Biddeford, died on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at her home in Saco.
She was born in Saco on Dec. 28, 1921, a daughter of William and Victoria (Martin) Cote.
On Aug. 28, 1943, she married Noel G. Beaudoin at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. They enjoyed 61 years of marriage until his death on Nov. 17, 2004.
She worked as a winder operator at Pepperell Mill. Anita was preceded in death by: her son, Charles Beaudoin; three brothers, Raymond, Marcel and Conrad Beaudoin; and four sisters, Gloria Remellard, Therese Ladoux, Jacqueline Turner and Lorraine Place.
Anita is survived by: two daughters, Priscilla Oxton and her husband Guy Ruel and Carmen Rice and her husband Robert, all of Saco; three brothers, Dolor Cote of Saco, Raoul Cote of Lyman and Fernand Cote of Biddeford; one sister, Yvette Dallaire of Old Orchard Beach; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be no visiting hours, and services will be private. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 U.S. Route 1, No. 1, Scarborough, ME 04074.
