Arrests

Joel C. Betz, 51, of Brunswick, was charged Sept. 1 at 10:07 p.m. with terrorizing after police responded to a domestic disturbance at an Oak Street residence. Police said a victim reported feeling threatened, and property damage was found at the residence.

Daniel Patrick Dalton, 54, of Brunswick, was charged at 4:14 p.m. Sept. 3 on Maine Street with criminal trespassing after having been told to stay out of Joshua’s Restaurant & Tavern, according to police.

Scott Allen Coombs, 37, of Brunswick, was charged at 11:22 p.m. Sept. 4, after an officer checked in on a vehicle thought to have been disabled on Cumberland Street, according to police. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer noted the smell of marijuana. Coombs was charged with possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of oxycodine, and violating his bail conditions. The vehicle was fine.

Elizabeth A. Staples, 22, of Bath, was charged at 12:08 p.m. Sept. 4 at Walmart on Tibbetts Drive with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, violating conditions of release, and criminal trespass.

Jesse Robert York, 28, of Topsham, was charged at 2:37 p.m. Sept. 7 at Walmart on Tibbetts Drive on five warrants out of West Bath District Court, Wiscasset District Court and Augusta District Court for unpaid fines.

Summonses

Justin Hart, 22, of Brunswick, was charged at 1:54 a.m. Sept. 6 for violating his bail conditions, after police said they found him passed out on the side of the road, near the intersection of Bath and Old Bath roads. Police said a caller found Hart unresponsive and was unable to wake Hart up. Police said they found a “strong odor of intoxicants” on Hart, who was transported to Midcoast Hospital, where he was summonsed.

George A. Dugal, 61, of Brunswick, was charged at 9:52 p.m. Sept. 6 for operating with a suspended or revoked license and failing to register his vehicle, after a motor vehicle stop on McLellan Street.
