BIDDEFORD — Gene and Madeline Huppe celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 16 with a renewal of their marriage vows with their family at St. Mary of the Sea Church in Unionville, Connecticut, officiated by Msgr. Michael Motta.
Gene and Madeline were married at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford on Aug. 21, 1954.
They are the parents of: Danny Huppe and wife Christine of Hebron, Connecticut, Denise and husband Normand Genest of Burlington, Connecticut, Lynn and husband Leon Charette of Plainville, Connecticut, and Mark Huppe and wife Jan of Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania.
They are the grandparents of: Carly Charette, Zachary and Nathan Genest, Alexa and Tyler Huppe, and Courtlynn Huppe.
A dinner followed the vow renewal at the home of the couple’s daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Normand Genest in Burlington, Connecticut.
