SCARBOROUGH — Richard H. Brown, 80, of Scarborough, and formerly of Springfield, Mass., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014 in Scarborough.
He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on Sept. 18, 1933, a son of Henry and Kathleen (Cummings) Brown.
Richard was employed by New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. for 33 years.
He was an avid car enthusiast and had a great love for his dogs, especially Missy.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Marilyn, in December of 1994.
He is survived by: three sons, Richard H. Brown, Jeffrey Brown and Randy Brown; two daughters, Debra Brown and Patrisha Henderson, all of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Dudley of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco. To sign the guestbook or leave condolences, go to www.cotefuneralhome.com.
