BETHEL — Deliah Schrieber scored five goals as the Lisbon High School girls soccer team rolled to a 9-0 Mountain Valley Conference win over Telstar on Wednesday.

The Greyhounds, 2-0 and scheduled to host Boothbay in their Homecoming game on Saturday at 11 a.m., led 6- 0 at the half.

Emma Houle, Loren Grant, Kailyn Hill and Kaylin Le added one goal each. Katheryn George dished out three assists, with Kipri Steele and Houle adding two helpers each.

Lisbon held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks and received two saves from netminder Ali Sult.

RICHMOND 13

The Bobcats opened their season with a Western D win over Pine Tree Academy (2-1).

Amber Loon had a sixpoint game with four goals and two assists, while Meranda Martin, Kalah Patterson and Kelsea Anair added two goals apiece. Molly Meagher, Camryn Hurley and Kelsie Obi chipped in a goal each.

Martin and Hurley had two assists, with netminders Obi and Jade Gammon combining on three saves in the shutout win.

Kathryn Kelly had 13 saves in goal for the Breakers.

Richmond is 1-0 and slated to host Vinalhaven on Friday at 1 p.m.

MORSE GIRLS 2

At McMann Field in Bath on Tuesday, the Shipbuilders earned their first win of the season in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference play.

After a scoreless opening half, Morsae jumped out to a 1-0 lead as Miracle Trimble slipped a shot past the Mt. View goaltender, with an assist going to Brianna Williams at the 18-minute mark.

Morse (1-1) continued to press, with Sophie Sreden sending a direct kick to the foot of Williams, who doubled the Shipbuilders lead.

Alesha Aucoin had seven saves for the shutout. Offensively, Morse put 15 shots on the Mt. View goal.

The Morse defense of Courtney Estabrook, Emma Rossetti, Leia Graves, Hope Faulkinham, Sierra Wallace and Emma Gould kept Mt. View pinned in its defensive half for most of the second half.

The Shipbuilders are slated to visit Oceanside on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
