YARMOUTH — Abby Dubois scored a goal in each half, but so did host North Yarmouth Academy, which earned its first points of the season with a 2-2 draw with Old Orchard Beach in a WMC girls soccer game on Saturday.

Dubois picked up where she left off against Traip on Thursday, when she scored a pair of goals ”“ the first of the season for both her and the team ”“ in the Seagulls’ (1-3-2) first win of the season. Lauralee Small and Brianna Plante each had an assist.

Taylor Leech scored in the first half for the Panthers (0-5-1) to knot the game up 1-1 at halftime.

Tiffany Leclair made six saves in goal for the Seagulls, while NYA keeper Scout Fischman turned away seven OOB shots.

SCARBOROUGH 6, SANFORD 0

SCARBOROUGH — Experience won out on Saturday as perennial top contender Scarborough shut out youthful Sanford 6-0 in an SMAA girls soccer game.

The Red Storm (4-1) received three goals from Katherine Kirk, and a goal each from Ashley Perriello, Ashley Gleason and Gabriella Panagakos.

Kyla Bragg made 21 saves for the Spartans (2-3).

WELLS — Maddie Moulson broke a scoreless tie with a goal with less than four minutes left in the game as the host Warriors (4-3) beat Sacopee Valley (3-4) 1-0 in a WMC field hockey game at Forbes Field on Saturday.

Boys Soccer

WESTBROOK 2, MASSABESIC 0

WATERBORO — Omar Muhammed and Gradi Lapika both scored for Westbrook as the Blue Blazes shut out host Massabesic 2-0 in an SMAA boys soccer game at Massabesic High School on Saturday.

Tyler Stinson made five saves in goal for the Mustangs (0-5).
