STANDISH — Emma Rutledge scored off a pass from Maggie Redman in overtime to lift Massabesic to a 4-3 victory over Bonny Eagle in an SMAA field hockey game on Wednesday.
Bonny Eagle (1-6) held a lead three times during regulation, only to see Massabesic (2-4-1) fight back to even things.
Catherine Biegel started the scoring for the Scots at the 15:20 mark of the first half, with Mira Kuni equalizing for the Mustangs off a pass from Abby Staples 2:35 before the break.
Bonny Eagle retook the lead two minutes into the second half thanks to Maddie Corbett before Massabesic’s Emma Desrochers tied it back up 2 1/2 minutes later.
Biegel struck again soon after to make it 3-2, but Redman scored with nine minutes left to send things to overtime.
Kelley Wescott made six saves for Massabesic, while Melissa Jones made 10 saves in goal for Bonny Eagle.
Biddeford 5, Noble 1
BIDDEFORD — Sophany Srey scored two goals as Biddeford topped Noble in an SMAA field hockey game on Wednesday at Doran Field.
Charlotte White, Abbie Paquette and Mallory Mourmouras all chipped in a goal and assist each for the Tigers (4-3).
Girls Soccer
Sanford 3, Cheverus 3
SANFORD — Vanessa Hodge scored the final two goals of the game to earn Sanford a draw with Cheverus in an SMAA girls soccer game on Wednesday at Cobb Stadium.
After Laura Kirkpatrick gave Sanford (2-3-1) a 1-0 lead off an assist from Kristen O’Connell just 2:03 in, Cheverus (2-2-2) scored three-straight goals to end the half, getting two goals from Katie Gordon and another from Abby Goodrich just 7.3 seconds before the break.
Hodge then got the Spartans back to within a goal thanks to an assist from O’Connell with 34:26 to play, the scored again with 6:33 remaining off a pass from Molly Boissonneault to even things up.
Kyla Bragg and Aisling Tiernan combined to make 13 saves for Sanford, while Hannah Tyson made 17 stops for the Stags.

Biddeford 11.5, Noble 1.5
SOUTH BERWICK — Kerry Crepeau shot a low-score of 47 as the Tigers defeated the Knights at Outlook Gold Club.
Biddeford improved to 4-3 with the win.
