LISBON FALLS — The Sugg Middle School boys soccer team dropped what might be its closest played match of the season to the Monmouth Mustangs, 1-0.
For much of the game the Mustangs were held off by the ‘Hounds defense and midfielders including Dolan Shane and Damian Little who limited the shots on goalkeeper Levi Levesque to eight, a season low.
Monmouth’s Connor Davies scored the game winning goal on a penalty kick in the second half with ten minutes remaining.
The Greyhounds (0-5) will face the Richmond Bobcats today.
