The Sugg Middle School boys soccer team played to a 3- 3 tie to the Richmond Bobcats on Wednesday. The Bobcats scored twice early on in the game to take a quick 2-0 lead over the Greyhounds.
Lisbon’s defense stepped up by names of Seth Dyer and Jacob George while on the offensive side, Scott Smith and Jack Tibbets kept Richmond’s defense scrambling. Greyhounds striker Noah Austin scored twice to tie the game up by the end of the first half.
With the momentum on the ‘Hounds side, Austin fired in another shot to take the lead and seal off a hat trick. The Bobcats found the net once more to end the game with a tie.
Gardiner will visit Lisbon (0-5-1) on Wednesday.
