SACO — Paula C. Quinn, 60, of Saco, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Biddeford on Feb. 15, 1954, the daughter of Ralph and Dolores Langevin Guilbault.

She was educated in Saco and Biddeford schools, graduating from Biddeford High School with the Class of 1972.

Mrs. Quinn owned and operated for more than 25 years her daycare, known as “Kids Place” in Saco, retiring in 2013 due to ill health.

On May 23, 2010, she married Gerard Chevalier in Old Orchard Beach.

Paula loved and cherished her children and all kids. She enjoyed walking and sitting on the beach, and being with her friends. Her actions were always selfless and kind.

Surviving are: her husband of four years of Saco; one daughter, Sarah P. Quinn of Ft. Myers, Florida; one son, Shaun P. Quinn of Biddeford; her mother, Dolores Guilbault of Biddeford; two sisters, Gloria Robitaille and her husband Eugene of Biddeford and Debra Roberts of Colorado; and one brother, William Guilbault of Biddeford.

Visiting hours will be 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, followed by a funeral service at noon at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005, with Pastor Catherine Anglea of the Second Congregational Church in Biddeford officiating. Burial will be in the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale. Donations in Paula’s name may be made to Biddeford Free Clinic, P.O.
