
Jennie was affectionately known by many throughout the community. She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons and their spouses: Patrick and Mary of West Gardiner; Richard and Carolyn of Lisbon Falls; Robert and Roxanne of Freeport; as well as 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sister Barbara Hustus of Pownal and several nieces, nephews and, of course, her many wonderful friends.
Jennie was the daughter of Frank and Harriet Gallant. She was the seventh of ten children and was born and raised in Yarmouth, Maine. She attended Yarmouth schools. At the age of 16 she moved together with her husband to Freeport and resided there to her last day.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, Oct. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist Funeral Home, One Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church in Freeport on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. with burial following in Burr Cemetery, also in Freeport.
