BATH — Ainsley Harrower scored with 16:42 remaining in regulation to lift the Brunswick Junior High School field hockey team to a 1-0 victory over rival Bath on Thursday.
The Huskies forward line of Shea Sullivan, Logan Gillis, Sophie Katz, Eliza Rudalevige, Liberty Krauss and Makayla Carver continually worked the ball into the Bath circle. They were supported by strong link play from Erin Coughlin, Maggie Folsom, Maddie Wayne, Mallory Palmer and Kristen Hummer.
Ainsley and Grace Casey split time in goal, combining on four saves. Arianna Edwards, Emma Nickerson and Madi Bailey combined defensively to keep Bath off the scoreboard.
Brunswick improved to 5-1.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
