BIDDEFORD — On Saturday, Oct., 11, 2014, Jeannine S. Houle, 76, of Biddeford, died on her 45th wedding anniversary at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough, following a brief illness.

She was born June 26, 1938 in Thetford Mines, P.Q., Canada, and was educated there.

In 1969, she married Robert A. Houle at St. Noel Church in Thetford Mines and subsequently moved to Maine, where she would raise her family, with whom she loved spending time. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.

Surviving Jeannine are: her husband of 45 years, Robert Houle; one son, Denis and his wife Lara; two daughters, Diane Janelle and husband Shane, and Louisette Hunter and husband Daricus; grandchildren Camryn and Brayden Houle, Miranda, Tyler, Cheyenne and Kaleb Janelle, Travis Patterson and Olivia Hunter, all of Biddeford; one sister, Rose-Aimee and husband Germain Beaulieu of Thetford Mines; and one brother, Jean-Guy Nadeau, of Thetford Mines.

Visiting hours will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. during the evening visitation. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday at noon at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
