KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Game 3 of the AL Championship Series has been postponed because of rain.

The game was pushed back from Monday to tonight at 8:07 p.m. Wei-Yin Chen starts for the Orioles against former Baltimore pitcher Jeremy Guthrie.

Game 4 was rescheduled for Wednesday at 4:07 p.m., and both managers said they could bring back their Game 1 pitchers on regular rest: James Shields for Kansas City and Chris Tillman for Baltimore. Or the Royals may go with Jason Vargas, with Baltimore possibly starting Miguel Gonzales.
