

Falmouth’s Bryce Murdick won the boys race with a time of 16:49, 10 seconds ahead of Mitch Morris of Cape Elizabeth. Luke Laverdiere of Yarmouth finished in the third, while Spencer Brown of Falmouth and Kyle Kennedy of Cape Elizabeth rounded out the top five.
Wyman broke away from the pack about two-thirds of the way through the race.

Chandler Vincent’s seventh place finish and Eric Brobst’s 17th-place showing helped Freeport finish in fifth (141 points).
Other Falcons were Tyler Frey (34th, 18:42), Henry Jaques (41st, 18:57), Liam Gallagher (42nd, 18:59), Matt Francis (54th, 19:47), Joseph Minieri (60th, 20:06) and Maya Egan (106th, 26:01).
Girls
Yarmouth came away the victor with 54 points, placing three runners in the top 10. Cape Elizabeth came in second (61), followed by Falmouth (105), York (115) and Waynflete (133).

Freeport finished 12th with 260 points, led by Lily Johnston (43rd, 23:07) and Hannah Schnyder ( 44th, 23: 18). Also for Freeport were Chloe Hight ( 54th, 24:00), Ella Russell (56th, 24:07), Jasmine Olins (73rd, 25:37), Lucy Zachau (75th, 25:40) and Lauren Moore (90th, 27:26).
The Falcons return to action this upcoming Saturday at the Western B Regionals at Twin Brook in Cumberland.
The Freeport boys run at 2:30 p.m., followed by the girls at 3:05 p.m.
