SEBASCO ESTATES — Lurene Grace James Vincent Perry Coffin, 87, of Sebasco Road, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, surrounded by her four children.

“Renee” was born on Dec. 5, 1926, and grew up in Sebasco and Cundy’s Harbor. She attended Sebasco Grammar School and North Yarmouth Academy. She was the daughter of Ira M. and Ada P. Morgan Perry and stepdaughter of Freeland Anderson.

On Oct. 9, 1948, she married Richard Coffin in Cundy’s Harbor and settled in Sebasco to start their family.

Renee enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren going on various day trips, shopping, creating Ukrainian Easter Eggs, scrapbooking, and drinking coffee. She enjoyed drawing, presidential history, debating and gardening.

She is predeceased by her husband of 51 years who died on Dec. 25, 1999; her brother, Harvey Perry; and three sisters, Philena Coffin, Dorothea Murphy and Leola Munsey.

Renee is survived by her daughters, Robin Wallace and her husband Keith, Becky Tilley and her husband Barry, Patty Palardy and her husband Andrew, and her only son, Brian Coffin; two granddaughters, Darcy Libby and her husband Jason, and Morgan Jamison; a grandson, Kevin Kramer; her two great-grandchildren, Keith Libby and Sadie Jamison; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Sheila Douglas.

Visiting hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Wes Murphy officiating. In lieu of flowers, Renee’s family is requesting any donations be made to the Phippsburg Fireman’s Association, P.O. Box 83, Phippsburg, ME 04562.
