It is a pleasure for me to ask the voters of Maine House District 50 to vote for Ralph Tucker. I have known Ralph since we both attended the Maine School of Law, and he and I both worked for the McTeague Higbee law firm during the early 1980s. Ralph was an admirable lawyer, and I appreciated his willingness to serve Maine when he joined the Board of the Workers Compensation Commission. Since then, the voters of Brunswick elected Ralph to serve 6 years on the Brunswick School Board. Finally, Governor Baldacci recognized Ralph’s merit when he appointed him to be a Maine District Court judge. Now that Ralph has retired from the Court, he is ready to continue serving the voters of Brunswick.
All of his experience has put Ralph in a great position to be an excellent State Representative. As well, I am delighted that Ralph fully supports a clean environment, single payer health care, strengthening public education, pushing economic development, and supporting an increase in the minimum wage. These are issues which I have worked for during my legislative terms, and which are vital to Maine’s future.
I urge the voters of District 50 to vote for Ralph Tucker as State Representative.
Rep. Charlie Priest
Brunswick
