OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Paul T. Brady, 84, of Old Orchard Beach, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at Seal Rock Healthcare.

He was born June 15, 1930 in Lewiston, the son of Thomas and Theresa (Sullivan) Brady.

He came here as a child and was educated in Biddeford public schools. He was a graduate of Cheverus High School in 1948 and also of Bentley College. He attended the military academy at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.

Mr. Brady served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After the war, he spent several years in Boston, working as an accountant.

On June 29, 1963, he married Mary Regan at St. Mary’s Church in Biddeford.

Since returning to Maine, he taught at Old Orchard Beach High School from 1962-86. After retirement, with his son and daughter, he founded Brady Screenprint in which he was active until 2011.

Paul was a member of the Elks Club and also the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

He most enjoyed spending time with his grandson.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary, Jan. 31, 2010; and his granddaughter, Emily Brady in 1998.

Surviving are: one daughter, Theresa Tarbox and her husband John of Saco; one son, Michael Brady of Biddeford; one grandson, Matthew Brady of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, followed by a memorial service at noon at the Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford.
