BRUNSWICK — The Rotary Club of Brunswick is hosting a “Pack a Backpack” fund raiser from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Brunswick Hotel and Tavern, located at 4 Noble St.
The event is to raise donations to help fill backpacks of local food-insecure students through the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program. The evening includes fine wines, superb hors d’oevres and silent and live auction items. In addition, a raffle will offer everyone an opportunity to win a premium bottle of wine.
Tickets to this event are available from members of the Brunswick Rotary Club as well as at Shaw’s at Cook’s Corner, Indrani’s in the Tontine Mall, and Riley Insurance, located at 149 Maine St.
