Democrat Mark E. Bryant of Windham, won the race for the Maine House of Representatives seat representing District 24, which includes part of Windham.
Bryant, 58, who served in the state Legislature for eight years until 2012, garnered 60.6 percent of the vote, beating out Dennis E. Welch of Windham, who ran for the open seat as a Republican.
