BRUNSWICK — Karen C. Dodge, 71, of Lisbon Falls, passed away peacefully and comfortably Monday morning, Nov. 3, 2014, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick with her children by her side. She was born on Dec. 17, 1942, in Arlington, MA, the daughter of the late Harry and Ann (Emerson) Andrews.

She grew up in the Shrewsbury area and attended local schools there. She was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School, class of 1960. After high school she attended Nasson College in Springvale, ME, where she studied English literature.

Karen worked for over 30 years as an administrative secretary for Pathways until her retirement in 2012. Karen was a member of the Bowdoinham and Charlestown Book Clubs and she loved reading, knitting, attending antique auctions, art, music and poetry. She will also be remembered by loving to spend quality time with her family.

She is survived by her three children: Andrew Dodge and his wife Lee Anne of Dresden, Ruth Dodge and her husband Kevin Nadeau of Durham, and Kathryn Dodge of Topsham. She also leaves behind a brother Alan Andrews and his wife Anne of Marathon, FL, a niece Lucy Walter, a nephew Scott Andrews and four grandchildren.
