
Mary held many different jobs throughout her life, most notably being at Bath Iron Works for 15 years at their North Store office. Mary also held jobs with Pratt Whitney Aircraft in their engineering office. She was an active member of Bath Area Senior Citizens, as well as the BIW Women’s Luncheon Association.
Mary enjoyed spending time at her camp on Monson Pond. She also had a great love for all animals.
She is predeceased by her parents, as well as her brother, Lawrence J. Boardman and her nephew, Daniel C. Reed.
She is survived by her family; Connie Boardman, Cindy, Heather and Regan Reed, Sarah and Sadie St. Pierre, Nancy, John, Josh and Jason Darling.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 to 11 a.m. at David E Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath.
Memorial donations may be made to the Coastal Humane Society (30 Range Road, Brunswick) in Mary’s name.
