ARUNDEL — York County Sheriff’s Office deputies were seeking the public’s help over the weekend after a masked man with a gun held up the Big Apple convenience store at 1120 Portland Road, Route 1, Friday night.
Chief Deputy Bill King in a statement released later that night said a lone man displaying a firearm entered the store about 9 p.m. and demanded cash. The clerk, who was alone in the store at the time, emptied the cash drawer.
The robber ran away, toward Limerick Road.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 324-1113.
