SOUTH PORTLAND — Former Morse High School standout Josh Tuplin scored 29 points on 9-for-13 shooting as the Southern Maine Community College men’s basketball team slipped past Berkeley College of New York, 81-79 on Sunday.
The SeaWolves darted out to an 8-0 lead, but trailed 26-24 at the half.
Tuplin, who was 6-for-10 from 3-point range, sank a pair of late free throws to preserve the win.
