AUGUSTA — The ever-popular Winthrop Area Handbell Ringers return to Lithgow Public Library on Thursday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. for the first performance in the library’s annual Holiday Concert Series. The free concerts are open to the public and take place in the Reading Room.
The library will also hold a bake sale on December 4 from noon to 7 p.m. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the capital campaign to expand and renovate Lithgow Library.
The Winthrop Area Handbell Ringers will perform a medley of holiday favorites. Members of the group, which was formed more than 25 years ago, are: Mary Barnard, Laura Begenwald (director), Mary Alice Cook, Meg Cook, Dottie Davis, Ginny Foster, Lee Gilman, Jenifer Harrington, Brenda Lake, Ginger Smith, and Priscilla Stred.
