OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Lucille G. Ready, 89, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.
She was born in Biddeford on Nov. 28, 1924, a daughter of Albani and Diana (Fillion) Dube.
She was educated at Biddeford High School.
Lucille was employed by WestPoint Pepperell in Biddeford for 39 years.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, and had a great love for her cat, Muffin.
Mrs. Ready was a parishioner of St. Margaret’s Church.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by: her husband of 69 years, Sylvester E. Ready of Old Orchard Beach; her son, Kenneth Ready and his wife Jeanne of Biddeford; one brother, Reynald Dube; four sisters, Theresa Boissonneault, Jeannine Dube, Yola Richards and Rachel McBrine; and several nieces and nephews.
