BRUNSWICK — Ally Frechette scored two first-period goals as the Lewiston High School girls hockey team downed Brunswick, 9-0 on Friday at Bowdoin College’s Sidney J. Watson Arena.
Erica Lemieux and Lauren Deblois also scored in opening frame as the 2-0 Blue Devils claimed a 4-0 lead.
Paige Fontaine and Megan Gosselin combined on seven saves in the shutout, while Jordan Van Savage turned aside 18 shots.
Brunswick is 0-2 and visits St. Dom’s on Wednesday at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn. Face-off is slated for 8:20 p.m.
