BIDDEFORD — James E. “Jim” Lombard Jr., 81, of Biddeford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014 at his home, with his family by his side.

He was the husband of Elizabeth Jane (Halasz) Lombard.

Jim was born in Old Orchard Beach on Aug. 11, 1933, a son of the late James E. and Stella (Hayes) Lombard Sr.

He was very proud of the businesses he built within the community, including The Dairy Barn in Saco, which is now Skippers, Five Points Auto in Biddeford and Ossipee Lake Campground. His accomplishments also included being named top salesman at Lee Auto Mall in Saco.

Jim’s passion was owning and training several harness horses throughout his life. He also enjoyed his frequent trips to Las Vegas.

He was a member of St. Jeans and the Eagles Club.

Jim was the brother of the late John Lombard, and husband of the late Roberta “Bert” Lombard.

Besides his beloved wife of 15 years, Jane, he is survived by: his children, Kevin Lombard and his wife Sandy, Becky Bogdanovich and her husband Paul and Louis Waterhouse III and his wife Tara; five grandchildren, Joshua and Zachary Lombard and Lucy, Max and Caleb Bogdanovich; a sister, Ellen Couri and her husband Bob; and several nieces and nephews.
