SKOWHEGAN (AP) — Police say a coughing fit caused a driver to crash his tractor trailer into an apartment building in Skowhegan, destroying the structure.
Skowhegan police say no one was injured in the accident early Tuesday morning. The three-unit building was destroyed.
The Morning Sentinel reports that no one was staying in the building at the time of the crash around 4 a.m.
Police say the driver will not be charged. The Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement office is investigating the crash.
