SACO — Margaret Curry, 92, of Saco, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

Mar-garet was born on May 1, 1922 in Saco, the daughter of Franklin McCrae and Mabel Ricker.

She was a graduate of Thornton Academy.

She was employed as an executive secretary for many years, first with Saco Lowell Shops and later with Gabriel Electronics.

Margaret was a no nonsense kind of woman, kept an immaculate house and she always tried to do the right thing.

She enjoyed traveling throughout New England with her husband, Albert, and their friends. She loved the peace and quiet of living in the country. In the spring, she liked to ride through Laurel Hill Cemetery to see the daffodils in bloom. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by: her husband of 47 years, Albert Curry Jr., who passed away on June 26, 2001.

She is survived by: her daughter, Janice Bayley of Scarborough; and her granddaughter, Susan Margaret Bayley Clough and her husband Vincent and their daughter Emma Bayley Clough.
