BRUNSWICK — Patricia “Pat” A. Masse, 80, of Woodside Road, died Nov. 25 at Mid Coast Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.

Masse was born Aug. 3, 1934, in Brunswick, to Philip and Antoinette Dionne Livernois. She graduated from Brunswick High School in 1953, and married her late husband, Ludger R. Masse, on Oct. 5, 1957.

Besides her roles as a wife and mother to six sons, Masse worked at Day’s Jewelers for almost 30 years. She also worked at Grand City in Brunswick, and ended her career at Brunswick Ford. 

Masse enjoyed cooking, crocheting and knitting, camping, bowling, bird watching, flowers and most of all, family gatherings. She also enjoyed watching baseball, especially her favorite team, the Boston Red Sox.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis and wife Kelly, of North Yarmouth, Shawn and wife, Debra, of Dixmont, Rick and wife, Brenda, of Brunswick, Tim, of Topsham, Jim, of Brunswick, and Steve and wife, Rachel, of Arizona.

She is also survived by her two brothers, Philip Livernois and Daniel Livernois; two sisters, Sylvia Williams and Vivienne Finneran; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews.

Visiting hours were held Nov. 30 at Stetson’s Funeral Home, in Brunswick. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Dec. 1 at St. John the Baptist Church, in Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Coastal Humane Society, at 190 Pleasant St., Brunswick, ME 04011.
