AUBURN — Callie Samson and Jessica Boulet scored two goals apiece to lead the St. Dominic’s Academy girls ice hockey team to a 6-4 Eastern win over Brunswick at Norway Savings Bank Arena on Wednesday.
The Dragons, who fell to 0- 3 and visit York tonight at 7:30 p.m., battled hard, receiving two goals each from Tessa Cassidy and Anna Webster. Goaltender Jordan Van Savage turned aside 17 shots.
Webster staked Brunswick to a 1-0 lead at 4:58 of the first period, but the Saints (1-2) answered with two goals, including the go-ahead marker from Alexis Kesaris with 2:49 left in the frame.
The Dragons tied the game when Cassidy finished off a set-up from Maddie Wilkes just 1:32 into the second period, and Webster’s second goal 2:32 into the third made for a 3-3 contest.
But, Boulet scored unassisted at 3:53, beginning a three-goal Saints run. Cassidy scored with 2:36 left.
Taylor Bergeron had 14 saves for St. Dom’s.
