BATH — The Bath Middle School eighth-grade girls basketball team came up short in a 36-31 loss to Brunswick in recent action.
The Destroyers trailed by 21 points in the third quarter, but scored 18 points in the fourth to make the game close.
Charlotte MacMillan led Brunswick with a game-high 15 points, with Rian Sachs adding 10. Anna Kousky was solid on defense.
Katie Moore had 13 points for Bath, while Mae Winglass had eight. Playing well on defense for the Destroyers were Ella Dempsey-Blair and Eva Machnitzky.
