BIDDEFORD — Francis J. Hebert, 87, of Biddeford, passed of natural causes on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 in Biddeford.
He was born in Manche-ster, New Hampshire on Dec. 19, 1926, a son of Honore and Mariza (Kingsbury) Hebert.
He served in the Army during World War II. After which, he met and married Jeannine Chauvette. They lived in Kennebunk and later in Biddeford.
Francis was employed by Kesslen Shoe in Kennebunk for 30 years, until 1972, and then worked at Saco Defense, retiring in 1992.
He was a kind and honest man, and will be missed by those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Jeannine M. (Chauvette) Hebert, on Jan. 26, 2001; and by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by: his daughter, Donna Hebert of Ventura, California; his sister-in-law, Anita Chauvette of Waterboro; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco. To sign the guestbook or leave condolences to the family, go to www.cotefuneralhome.com.
