FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (AP) — Boston Celtics assistant coach and former player Walter McCarty has agreed to pay more than $20,000 to a contractor for the purchase and installation of cabinets, and in exchange a larceny charge will be dismissed.
The MetroWest Daily News reports that under a deal reached in court Thursday, the 40-year-old McCarty has until Dec. 31 to pay the money.
McCarty was free without bail after pleading not guilty.
