TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School 8th grade boys basketball team hosted Tripp Middle School in recent to end the 2014 half of the season, coming out on top 41-16.
Mt. Ararat’s Hayden Libby, Max Spelke, Devin Tobin and Hunter Lohr were noted for strong play on defense that included many steals, rebounds and man-toman defense. The Eagles got off to a strong start and Tripp improved as the game went on.
On the offensive side of the efforts, Henry Doyle, Austin Damon and Ben Freeman were the top scorers for the Eagles.
