WESTBROOK — Isaiah Manoogian and Sean Jany scored 11 points each to pace Westbrook to a 55-43 win over Bonny Eagle in an SMAA boys’ basketball game Friday.

Westbrook (3-2) took a 15-2 lead in the first quarter, sinking three 3-pointers, including a buzzer-beater by Manoogian.

Derek Breunig and Jany each hauled in 12 rebounds for Westbrook.

Ben Malloy paced the Scots (3-2) with 13 points.

MARSHWOOD 63, BIDDEFORD 36: Drew Bartlett scored 25 points, including 14 in the first quarter, as the Hawks (3-1) downed the Tigers (1-4) at Biddeford.

Baili Lontine-Kerson added 13 points and Ryan O’Neil had 10 for Marshwood, which led 26-11 after one quarter and 43-16 at halftime.

Patrick Pearl paced Biddeford with 12 points.

SCARBOROUGH 69, MASSABESIC 44: Milani Hicks scored 32 points as the Red Storm (4-1) beat the Mustangs (0-4) at Scarborough.

Scarborough took control in the second quarter, outscoring Massabesic 19-9 behind eight points from Sam Freeman to build a 35-19 lead.

Freeman finished with 11 points and Nate Wessel had 10.

Massabesic was led by Dan Amabile with nine points.

THORNTON ACADEMY 65, SANFORD 50: Rome Pura scored 24 points and Kevin Barrett had 16 to lead the Golden Trojans (1-4) over the Spartans (0-5) at Sanford.

Tye Laviolette was the leading scorer for Sanford with 16 points. Brad Bouchard and Frank Veino each scored 10.

WAYNFLETE 51, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 37: Milo Belleau scored nine of his 23 points in the first quarter to get Waynflete (5-0) started in a win over visiting Old Orchard Beach (1-3).

Harry Baker-Connick added 10 points, and Christian Brooks came off the bench to score seven.

Zach Hirst was high scorer for the Seagulls with 19 points. Evan Christensen finished with 14.

TRAIP ACADEMY 92, SACOPEE VALLEY 42: The Rangers (4-1) raced out to a 30-5 lead after one quarter on their way to a win over the Hawks (1-4) at South Hiram.

Alex Foye led all scorers with 23 points. Traip also got 15 points from Angelo Succi, 14 from Josh Schneier, 13 from Coleman Pelkey and 11 from Joe Cavanagh.

Blake Trueworthy paced Sacopee with 12 points.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 65, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 42: Caleb LaCroix made six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points to lead the Guardians (4-1) past the Lions (2-4) at South Portland.

Tim Yeaton added 19 points for Seacoast, which led by nine at halftime, then outscored the Lions 18-8 in the third quarter.

David Davol and Mason Jones each scored 10 points for GPCS.

NOKOMIS 69, WATERVILLE 51: Zach Hartsgrove scored 22 points and Josh Smestad added 19 points to pace the Warriors (1-4) to a win at Waterville (0-5).

Corey Huerfano had 12 points and 18 rebounds for Waterville.

VALLEY 66, RICHMOND 45: Cody Laweryson scored 22 points to lead the Cavaliers (4-1) to a win in Bingham.

Colin Miller added 11 points and seven rebounds, and Austin Cates had 12 points and seven steals.

Richmond was led by Matt Rines with 13 points and Cameron Emmons with 12.

MARANACOOK 66, LEAVITT 59: Kent Mohlar scored 24 points for the Black Bears (3-2) in a win over the Hornets (3-2) at Readfield.
