BIDDEFORD — Patricia R. Crocker, 79, of Biddeford, died on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at the Biddeford Estates in Biddeford.

Patricia was born on Jan. 7, 1935, to Harry and Ruth (Plummer) Palmer in Sanford, where she grew up and attended local schools.

Patricia enjoyed attending yard sales and was an avid collector. She liked embroidery, crocheting and taking newspaper clippings. She also enjoyed going to dances at the Buxton Grange Hall, taking trips, especially “up Maine” and attending church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was a great cook. Patricia liked to spend holidays with her family and baking things for them, especially her pineapple cookies.

She had been a member of the Sanford First Baptist Church, the Eagles Club in Biddeford and had volunteered at the thrift shop in Lyman.

She will be remembered as a loving and generous woman, who always put the needs of others before her own and will be dearly missed.

Patricia was preceded in death by: her daughter, Sylda Crocker.

Surviving are: seven children, Cheryllee Brice of Pittsfield, Elmer Crocker Jr., Dorrance Crocker, and Rose Lapointe, all of Biddeford, Lauriston Crocker and his wife Rachel and Raelene Kearney and her husband Dennis, all of Sanford, and June Dinsmore and her husband Raymond Jr. of Limerick; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28 at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, located at 580 Main St. in Springvale. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 29.
